Most candles look alike on the outside, but the wax inside makes all the difference. Our wax is a carefully balanced proprietary coconut apricot blend, a creamy soft off-white wax designed for cleaner burning, exceptional fragrance throw and a remarkably even melt.
It is not the easiest wax to work with, and it is also one of the most expensive natural wax bases in the U.S. The result is a candle with performance soy simply cannot match.
A More Fragrant Candle
Our wax can hold far more fragrance than soy wax, in fact up to 12.5 percent scent load. This is exceptionally high for any natural wax and one of the reasons our candles smell richer, fuller, and more dimensional. Soy wax, by comparison, generally reaches its limit around six to eight percent before it begins to separate, weep or burn inconsistently. Soy candles typically stay below that range to remain stable.
Because our wax can absorb and bind more fragrance, each candle releases scent more evenly as it burns. You don't get the quick top note burst that fades after a few hours. Instead, the aroma stays consistent from the first burn to the final melt pool.
Better Fragrance Throw (Hot and Cold)
Coconut-based waxes are known for releasing scent more effectively than soy because they melt at a lower temperature and create a more fluid, even melt pool. This allows the warmed oils to disperse into the air more easily.
Soy candles often release fragrance more slowly and sometimes unevenly because the wax structure is denser and requires more heat to liquefy.
A More Luxurious Appearance
This wax is naturally creamy, smooth, and slightly off-white. It looks elegant even before it is lit. Soy, on the other hand, often cools with frosting, craters, or rough tops, which are common aesthetic issues that do not affect safety but can make the candle feel less premium. Our blend resists frosting and sets with a clean, velvety surface.
A Cleaner and More Even Burn
The physical properties of our coconut apricot wax, including its soft and creamy texture, allow it to burn with minimal soot and excellent stability. Customers often notice:

• little to no tunneling

Because the wax melts evenly across the surface, it uses nearly all of the candle instead of creating wasted walls of unmelted wax. This also improves fragrance throw because a larger warm surface releases scent more effectively.
